Production Concept: Making a DVD Menu

Today I made a DVD menu, or tried with my best efforts! I went to the studios to discover that there was no more iDVD on the mac's, therefore I had to use Encore - which I have never used before. I was lucky Fergus was in to help, as I would have been completely useless on my own. To make the buttons work on a menu, I had to make two separate video files to insert into the project, instead of originally linking the button to the file on its own. Fergus had to go through a majorly long process of putting in markers in the project that already existed to make it so you could pause the piece of music whilst it is playing. Thankfully, it is all done now, the text is very bland and there is no images on the menu or themes, but it was too complicated and every time I tried it would delete everything I had already made and fixed. I am glad I came in earlier to make sure it was done.
