Major Production: Style of Filming and helping Zarah with Scripting

Thursday myself and Zarah met up to discuss where to go next for our Major Production. We have resolved a few situations such as background stories of the brothers, how the story will play out and also the length of the production.
We have decided that there will be more of a struggle in the up-bringing of the brothers. Rather than already having a rough childhood, we thought of maybe having a rather normal one to intensify the struggle of the main characters and how the audience can sympathise with them. We thought having quite normal parents and a normal background meaning that their current life may be more of a struggle and will be more of a challenge and change for them. We have also added little stories within stories to make the feature more exciting.
We also discussed the length with Simon and we have agreed that the production will be around 15 to 20 minutes in length as half an hour was just too long and would have dragged and made unnecessary plots.
Within the next week I have to figure out my style of directing and cinematography so I will be watching a lot of films and television productions and will be researching which style path I would most like to go down.
