Work Experience as a runner for "Take Me Out"!
Today I had the great opportunity of being able to work as a runner for Maidstone Studios on the very popular show that is "Take Me Out". It was an amazing experience and hopefully will help me in the future. When I got there I was given the role of being a runner for the Production Team. Which involved labelling talk backs for the set crew, making tea and making up goody bags which were given to the girls involved with the show. After about 2 hours of this, a floor manager from the set asked the production team if they could use a runner for a stand in. Which meant acting as one of the girls from the actual show on set! I had to walk in and stand behind the podium while Paddy McGuinness rehearsed his lines from the show they were going to record later that evening! I had to walk around the set turning off lights (no likey, no lightey) on the podiums and answering questions Paddy McGuiness would ask the girls! It was a tiring and long day, but I enjoyed the experience immensely and would definitely do it again in the near future!
