The only problem I came across though, was that the majority of books and evidence I researched believed that the audience definitely has changed the way we see television and broadcast. I tried hard to find an argument against but had no luck, so I shall keep researching and trying!

Media Strategies Unit: Research
Today I went to Canterbury library to focus on my research for the essay in this unit. The main books that were most helpful - “Television, Audiences and Everyday Life” - Matt Briggs and “Media Studies – Texts, Institutions and Audiences” - Lisa Taylor and Andrew Willis. I found some excellent references and quotes to include in my essay.
The only problem I came across though, was that the majority of books and evidence I researched believed that the audience definitely has changed the way we see television and broadcast. I tried hard to find an argument against but had no luck, so I shall keep researching and trying!
