Major Production: Searching for Colour Palettes

Today I have been researching colour palettes for my film. I have discovered that colour palettes to fit the tone of the film is extremely important for the director to determine and make clear what mood you're trying to set.
I have been looking through a blog called moviesincolour.com where the author watches popular movies and makes colour palettes for the film. The colour palette I liked the most and am hoping our film will take after the tone in is the colour palette of Fight Club. The palette is below...
The main colours for this palette is yellow/orange and blue. Because the colours contrast against each other they "pop" against each other. Another television show I have watched recently that fits the style of the colour palette is the Channel 4 series Top Boy, a film still is below.

As you can see the orangey/yellowy colour is used for the skin tones and the blues is used for the background colour.
