Professional Practice - Work Placement Opportunities

Back to university after 3 months off and already it is all go! I am happy to say though that I have contacted two different potential work placements one of which is a work placement for at least 40 hours and another is working with the client to make a moving image project.
WHF
My first choice is making a promotional charity video for WHF (The Wildlife Heritage Foundation) - http://www.whf.org.uk/. I have contacted Tanith Brown - who works for their advertising and promotional department and she sounded very positive. In actual fact this idea appealed to me the most because it would be an incredible experience to work with their big cat sanctuary and I would rather work with a client that for one. The job would involve making a promotional video
CBBC (indi company who works for the CBBC)
I know a contact who has produced quite a few individual series of children's programmes and he offered me a work placement for however long I need. The con's of this choice though is that all travel has to be paid for out of my pocket and considering that the main office is based in London, it could be quite expensive. The job would involve running or cable bashing for the company on a studio production.

Both of these choices are incredible opportunities and which either one I end up doing I know I will enjoy doing.
