Story Telling Unit: First day of filming!

Today was my first day of filming, and I like to think it went pretty successfully! It was lovely weather and the location was better than expected. We started filming in Mote Park, where we found a quiet place and a lot of nice scenery, we started with a few extreme long shots so we could catch the scenery and set the scene. Then I filmed a few extreme close-ups and close-ups of Mel's face to emphasize the fact that she is ill. Then I filmed a few medium shots, and a couple of panning shots. It started off quite badly because I forgot to charge the camera battery! but we have to learn from our mistakes. Tomorrow is my last day filming so I have made sure I have fully charged both batteries as tomorrow is the last day I have the camera, I hope it goes well.
